Hung Shen designed propellers have been installed on eleven twin screw offshore patrol vessels, owned by Taiwan Navy, designed by United Ship Design and Development Center, constructed by China Shipbuilding Cooperation. The diameter of the propellers is 2.32 meters. The product accuracy fulfils the ISO 484/2 class “S” standard. The performances of the propellers, including efficiency, cavitation control, vibration and noise induces by propeller, have verified as superior.
The triple screw missile guided fast patrol boat, owns by Taiwan Navy, built in Navy shipyard, has been equipped with the propeller and shafting systems designed and delivered by Hung Shen. The vibration and noise levels induced by propeller are verified to be very low even at maximum ship speed, 35 knots.
